Upcoming events for me in Peru

I am planning on doing a 4 day Inca Trail trek leaving on saturday. When I get back I will spend a couple of days more before going on a trip to Arequipa and the Colca Canyon. The Colca Canyon in one of the deepest in the world, almost twice the depth of the Grand Canyon.

When I return from that I will be going to do some conservation work in the Amazon for a week. Apparently, I will be chopping down bamboo with a machete and replanting with native species trees, which will act as a buffer for the Nature Preserve. I think that will be very interesting!

I plan on taking lots of pictures and will update the blog as I am able. I will also try to take some photos of the city and the work that is going on here. You will be surprised at the amount of manual labour that there is and the speed in which things get done. Quite fast actually for the amount of work that there is.
